i was regretting not grabbing a pair of crystal bookends in palm springs last weekend. i second guessed myself b/c i was worried they would look dated soon.
but since joe's rock shop has such cool colors and good prices there is no remorse, now i just have to pick a color. i kind of love the ones that look like shitakes...
how amazing is this italian lighting store i just stumbled onto on ebay? these pendants are awesome, and the prices are so reasonable that paying the shipping from italy doesn't drive the price up much.

i just finished watching i love you alice b. toklas and i can't believe i've never seen it before! i am now obsessed with the 60's bachelor apartment morphed into hippie den, it is amazing! i wish i had stills of the wood paneled bathroom with black + white graphics pasted on the walls, so, so good! look at what the hippies did to the overhead lights above!
