a lazy sunday is such a luxury, even better with with good reading!  i love this kid's room from today's t magazine.  i want that spot to lounge in!

we spent a crazy weekend in the desert awhile ago and i love the shots that chris got.  they really capture what it feels like out there...i always love the holga!

comme des garcons opened a guerilla store in downtown la today!  i was working in retail when their first guerilla store opened and i remember reading this article.

maybe it is because i am so tired and grouchy tonight that these simple things from canoe are making me happy.  i want to order some awesome japanese notebooks by postalco, i love our chemex and that bottle opener looks like it will get my beer open right quick, because honestly, crying and throwing the cheap bottle opening is not something i want to repeat.

usm modular furniture

i am dreaming about replacing all my ikea storage with this modular line from usm.
the colors are amazing and i think having customized art supply/magazine storage might be even better that a custom closet...

apology cards

my friend amy had these cards made for her father for christmas and i think they are so funny!  i love that this particular card looks like it went through quite a night.  i want to get some for my husband!

here's a little shout out to great house & garden covers from the past.  i will miss it, it was just getting really good! (gwyneth's house aside.)  i am hoping that this is as temporary as the 3 years the magazine was shut in the '90s, and that they don't close the store!

i am such a fan of christopher ryan's work at my little underground.  these pillows will be available tomorrow.   each has its own personality, the writer is above (check out the wine bottle!).  the musician and the painter follow. i love them even more because i am a total sleepyhead, sleep is the best luxury around!

rogan objects

this chair by jeans guy rogan gregory is stunning.

ticking stripes

if i didn't hate hate flannel sheets i would buy a set of garnet hill's ticking stripe in ink.  they are so beautiful, maybe i could use the shams and not actually sleep on them..

horse shoes

love love these horseshoe frames.  we had a while where we were giving old horseshoes as birthday gifts, i might have to start that again.

deborah berke

i love love this room by deborah berke and partners!  i was happy to read about this firm, it's cool how all these rooms have pattern and color, but also little restraint.  i always love simple rooms but i can't give up on color and mixing patterns.
